Here is an example of some of our restoration work with a family bible. To the left is pictured the spine and family bible as a whole before restoration was done. We were able to save the old spine by cleaning it and re-dying it. We also used the old cover, cleaned it up some and re-dyed, We also made new "frames" for it with new leather, and set the old spine and cover inside these "frames" so that they will be protected for years to come, this "frame" or "window" setting is something that Artur Bookbinding International only does and sets us apart from other bookbinders when considering restoring your old Family Bible.
